Open Call For Films 2010
Long Island Film Festival is accepting submissions for its 27th edition for the 2010 Fall touring program schedule. Venues to include the following:
Bay Street Theatre, Sag Harbor
Grumman Studio
Dead-line for submissions: June 1, 2010.

MISSION STATEMENT - Discover, promote and give venue to visual and performing artists from the greater Long Island region by presenting entertaining and educational public programming, while fostering cultural exchange in the domestic and international arenas.
Message from the Executive Director
Welcome to the 26th season of the Long Island Film Festival. It's been a remarkable journey
that continues to evolve. When the Festival first took flight, it was a unique enterprise for the
Long Island region. For its first ten annual editions, the LIFF reigned as the only one on the
Island to give crucial public support to the area's student and professional filmmakers, and
the accompanying skills and artistry of the production crews.
As the "Johnny Appleseed" of film festivals in the greater region, the Long Island Film Festival
laid the groundwork for the eventual proliferation of an eclectic mix of festival creations and
events that now grace the area.
Our history of showing unique indie film programs and special events which incorporate
entertaining, inspirational and educational presentations to Long Island and a geographically
expanding audience is long and varied. The collaboration and support from our partners,
donors and sponsors is greatly appreciated.
